The University of Kansas is Hiring a Student Accounts - Student Hourly or Work Study Near Lawrence, KS
Job DescriptionThe Student Assistant job duties include the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Answering phones, office emails, and greeting customers who come to the office.
Scanning of all office documents.
Assist with making KUID card and/or other university cards for several campus offices.
Assist with the distribution of cards, and completing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at KU.
Experience using Word and Excel.
Prior work experience multitasking in an occasionally fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
Must be available to work between classes during the school year from 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday in blocks of two (2) or more hours.
Available to work Summer and Breaks: workdays (Monday thru Friday) between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Prior knowledge of business office operations and office equipment i.e. fax, copier, scanner.
Able to work well with others.
Eligible for Federal Work Study funding.
