The School of Child and FamilySciences at The University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for a VisitingInstructor position for the 2024-25 academic year only.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching in face-to-face and online formats.
• Participating in school initiatives focused on student success including curriculum development, advising, and assessment.
• Maintaining competence in teaching through engagement in professional development activities and incorporating current technology and research on student learning into course delivery and materials development.
• Contributing to the mission of the school, college, and university through service activities.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications An earned master’s in Human Development and Family Science orrelated field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collegially withstudents, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds, programs, andcolleges.
• Ability to be flexible.

Preferred Qualifications Graduatedegree from a COAMFTE marriage and family therapy program.

Licensed or license eligible as an LMFT inMississippi.
