The University of Vermont Health Network is Hiring a LNA - Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care Near Middlebury, VT

We have full-time & part-time commitments on day and evening shifts within our Long-Term Care Unit.

Full-time

Day 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. (80 hours per pay period)

Part-time

Eve 2:45 p.m. -11:15 p.m. (40 hours per pay period)

Eve 6:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. (28 hours per pay period)

Day 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. (32 hours per pay period)

Limited Per Diem Roles

We offer the following differentials in addition to the hourly rate of pay:

  • Evening $3.00 per hour
  • Night $5.00 per hour
  • Weekend $2.00 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials)

A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available Licensed Nurse Assistants. Subject to applicable taxes, the bonus is paid in three installments: 1st after 90 days, 2nd after one year, and 3rd after two years. Bonus recipients must commit to continuous full-time or part-time employment in an eligible position for two years with Porter Medical Center. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.

Positions of 20 or more hours per week are eligible for FULL benefits including but not limited to: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life and Disability Insurance, 403(b) plan with employer contribution, and time-off plans.

Job Summary
Our Licensed Nursing Assistants are responsible for working collaboratively under the direction of the Unit Nurse to deliver basic personal care support and specific aspects of patient care. Responsive communication, respect, and support to our residents are the central features of this position.
Education

LNA license with the State of Vermont, required

Experience

empathetic and compassionate. Must be reliable and able to work well as a member of a team. Strong communication skills are needed along with the ability to follow through.
