The University of Vermont Health Network is Hiring a LPN - Skilled Nursing - Memory Care Near Middlebury, VT
We are currently looking for talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our care team! Open currently:
72 hours per pay period 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. (6, 8-hour shifts/2-week pay period)
Limited Per Diem Opportunities - additional $2 per hour
We offer the following differentials on top of the hourly rate of pay:
Subject to applicable taxes, the bonus is paid in three installments: 1st after 90 days, 2nd after one year, and 3rd after two years. Bonus recipients must commit to continuous full-time or part-time employment in an eligible position for two years with Porter Medical Center. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
Positions that are 30 hours per week are eligible for full benefits including but not limited to: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 403(b), Life and Disability Insurances, and Paid Time-off.

About The Memory Care UnitMemory Care is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals as they experience the progression of symptoms and increases in cognitive loss associated with a diagnosis of dementia. Our early-stage program offers activity-based care in a warm, supportive and safe environment with a primary goal of helping individuals maintain dignity, purpose and functional ability. This highly specialized unit is staffed with very dedicated advocates and team members. Residents in this unit are the most vulnerable, usually unable to advocate for themselves.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by The State of Vermont required.
- Must possess a high aptitude for learning, strong customer service skills, and teamwork skills.
