Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store and provide excellent customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, retail experience, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints
- Train and supervise store staff, including conducting performance evaluations
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is replenished as needed
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Handle cash register operations and perform cash handling procedures accurately
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating employee schedules and managing shift coverage
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in store management or assistant management role preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Proficient in retail math calculations (e.g., calculating discounts, sales tax)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Preferred but not Required
