All employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, skills, individual performance, and business needs .Position Purpose/Summary: Ensure quality of processes, raw materials, and finished products through inspection, monitoring, and record keeping for a contract manufacturing blend and fill operation.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-DeliverablesAn individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. - Perform frequent line inspections
- Carry out data collection and recognize errors or deviations
- Communicate with production personnel and team leaders to resolve basic quality issues
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies
- Provide QA coverage for assigned production lines
- Demonstrate good work habits with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance to quality standards, SOP’s and programs are being met
- Communicate all product deviations to the Quality Supervisor or Quality Lead
- Participate in Quality Line Audits
- Assist workers in solving daily work problems
- Perform ATP swabbing to ensure sanitation requirements are met
- Assist in the Sample Retain Program
- Verify label accuracy and application
- Confirm accurate code formatting
- Accurately complete production line quality documents
- Calibrate equipment for quality monitoring as needed
- Ensure samples are delivered to the laboratory for testing in accordance with sampling plans
- Provides metrics and reports that are complete and timely
- Contributes useful problem solving options and implements with success
- Provides improvement options that positively impact the company objectives
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree in relatable topic preferred.
- Equivalent progressive work experience in lieu of educational training
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a Warehouse environment.
- Experience in safety, regulated production/GMP, quality, or other related areas.
- Must be computer literate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
- Experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Must have effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must have ability to work well under pressure.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Movement: Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight-hour shift. Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling
Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
Vision: Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly
