About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Network Operations to lead a team responsible for the critical on-air linear network live and server-based playout operations. This role is foundational to the success of content distribution across the company's linear networks, including the delivery of entertainment and sports content to millions of consumers. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of creating and maintaining magical viewing experiences, with a focus on operational excellence, reliability, and the seamless integration of network-level graphics, compressions, rundowns, and event integration for live events. The VP will also be accountable for the reliable delivery of ad inventory, a task that is of paramount importance to the business and its commercial partners.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the broadcast, streaming, or high-tech industry, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. The role requires a leader with extensive knowledge of Transmission Operations and a proven track record in leadership, innovation, and operational excellence. The VP will be responsible for 24/7 operations, creating operational roadmaps, and consolidating workflows to ensure a streamlined and efficient operation. A strong background in technology and the ability to embrace new tools and workflows is essential. The role also involves oversight of budgets, staff development, and building strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
