Part-time JOB OVERVIEW:The Aquatics Operations Tech / Facilities Custodian reports to the Director of Operations. They are accountable to completing assigned tasks that require skills across many disciplines including but not limited to pool chemical water balance, mechanical and plumbing repairs, problem solving and troubleshooting, locker room, restrooms, and WClub facilities cleaning. Essential Job Functions
Read, understand, and follow basic instructions
Maintain pool chemical balance in all pools
Stock pool supplies
Maintain tools needed to perform the job requirements
Clean restrooms and locker rooms
Keep WClub clean and orderly
Empty trash bins
Basic plumbing repairs
Trouble shooting and problem solve
Project layout and planning
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company/departmental policies/services/procedures/standards
Able and willing to perform other tasks to maintain a productive and successful work environment; complete and submit necessary paperwork
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) current certification.
CPR certified
Mechanical proficiency
Able to operate multiple types of carpentry and power tools
Able to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (flexible schedule)
Time management skills
Able to work in a standing position for extended periods
Able to reach and routinely lift 30 pounds
Effective communicator capable of engaging a wide range of people on the phone and in person
Excellent telephone, organizational and time-management skills
Work with moderate independence and multi-task effectively
Ability to communicate clearly to customers, co-workers, and the public
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact in a professional, pleasant manner with co-workers, customers, and the public
