We are searching for anexperienced Real Estate Coordinator at our Headquarters facility in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The Real Estate Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, trades, and easements.Primary duties are to prompt, audit and coordinate the execution of all closing documents.Responsible for revenue tracking and coordination of 1031 like-kind exchange real estate transactions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Manage the real estate closing process, set up closing with closing attorneys, and order title work.
-Coordinate with Exchange Accommodate Titleholder (EAT) to assure 1031 like-kind exchange documents are accurate and completed for transactions.
-Follow up with closing agent for final title policy and recorded warranty deed; Prepare Vizio drawings that represent 1031 transactions.
-Handle post-closing transactions and document review and entry into land database.
-Preparation of Westervelt depletion and basis schedule and communication to Accounting and LIS.
-Check all closing documents and settlement statements prior to closing, for accuracy, and prepare wire request for closing.
-Act as a liaison between buyers, sellers, and title companies to get properties closed and funded.
-Scan all closing documents for the transaction folder.
-Notify business leaders of real estate transactions.
-Research legal descriptions; prepare maps and shape files for parcels of land for sale or trade; assist in gathering comparable sales information.
-Provide administrative support for the department.
RequiredQualifications:
- Associate's degree in real estate, law, business administration, or related field; or progressive, practical, real estate experience
- Progressive practical experience demonstrating extensive knowledge and responsibility in the real property profession required
- Ability to understand a standard closing statement
- Ability to order and interpret a title opinion
- Attention to detail
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility with daily planned activities
- Strong problem solving ability
- Accuracyand timeliness

Thebase salary range for this position is $43,700 - $61,200. Actual base salary is based on the experience and qualifications of theselected candidate.
