The Westin Verasa Napa is Hiring a Room Attendant Near Napa, CA

Location: USA -Napa, CA

Responsibilities:
•Support and service the Room Attendants and maintain cleanliness up to Westin Standards throughout the hotel.
•A very high attention to detail is required to maximize guest satisfaction.
•Provide exceptional guest service every day.
•Complete daily zone sheets such as lobby area's, gym, conference and public spaces and document any damage or room deficiencies. Also report any missing inventory items.
•Including the daily changing of bed linens, replacing towels, cleaning kitchens, cleaning the bathroom, dusting, vacuuming carpets and the removal of garbage and recyclables.
•Maintaining orderly lock-ups, mobiles and vacuums, by cleaning and restocking of linens, cleaning supplies and amenities.
•Interacting with guests and homeowners by providing maid service, troubleshooting guest issues in relation to other areas of the resort by giving information or directions.
•Enhancing team play.
•Striving to learn and grow as a team to ensure a positive employee experience while providing guest satisfaction.
•Reporting lost and found by turning in items left by guests to housekeeping office supervisor.
•Other duties as assigned to you by your supervisor.
•Perform daily servicing of assigned units to departmental standards within specified time limits in order to assure constancy, guest satisfaction.
•Completes assigned check-out cleans that include: cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, complete cleaning of kitchenettes, replacing linen on beds, cleaning living room and fireplace, dust and vacuum, replenish supplies and literature in order to prepare the units for the next guest.
•Responsible for checking drawers and closets for lost and found items.
•Responsible for checking appliances, lighting, etc. and reporting deficiencies to building foreman in order to expedite repairs.
•Responsible for proper use of cleaning
•Responsible for reporting inventory shortages to building foreman in order to expedite replacement.
•Responsible for reporting damages, painting needs, carpet cleaning needs, etc. to Maintenance Crew in order to initiate necessary work orders.
•Maintains carts, vacuum, and storeroom in neat working order.
•Dusting of furniture and fixtures
•Cleaning windows
•Responsible for removal/sorting of linen, garbage, and recycling
•Vacuuming
Other::
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Westin rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand; walk; climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend.
May be required to lift, carry, and move constantly 11 to 29 pounds, frequently 30 to 49 pounds, and occasionally 50 to 75 pounds.
General Skills and Description:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in housekeeping an asset
Skills and Knowledge:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Proven guest service ability with an attention to detail
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Team Orientated.
Able to work weekends and holidays
