Essential Job Functions

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform job duties for guests and with team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Take initiative to ensure guest safety and satisfaction is a priority.
  • Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner.
  • Communicate professionally and cooperate with supervisor and all hotel personnel.
  • Reinforce company expectations by providing high-quality customer experiences.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
  • Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotels services and accommodations.

Housekeeping

  • Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervosor, including guest rooms and public areas.
  • Change and replace all bed linens and towels.
  • Sanitize and clean all restrooms on property.
  • Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
  • Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in guest rooms and all public areas.
  • Clean windows and mirrors in guest rooms and all public areas.
  • Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing.
  • Clean all hallways, stairways and elevators as necessary.
  • Empty all wastebaskets.
  • Restock all room amenities.
  • Assure all rooms are set up to company standards.
  • Clean and maintain personal workstation by properly stocking with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
  • Submit maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to Director of Hotel Operations.
  • Report to supervisor any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the hotel and any needed repairs to housekeeping or other equipment.
  • Clean and check vacant rooms and work in concert with front desk to insure that all incoming guests rooms are cleaned and ready for check-in.
  • Clean the employee break room when necessary.
  • Remove all waste/trash from around property as necessary
  • Check and refill all paper towel and soap dispensers as necessary.
  • Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly.
