Position Overview

To be successful as a Sewer Sales Advisor you must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in sales. A good Sales Representative combines charisma with sales and industry knowledge to create a compelling sales pitch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Sewer Sales Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Create compelling sales pitches.
  • Sell the company's products and services.
  • Onboard new customers
  • Perform research on the competition's services.
  • Reach out to potential clients to inform them about our products and services.
  • Work with Marketing Manager on community events.
  • Establish relationships with technicians to build lead flow.
  • Train Technicians in Academy to create the next line of techs.
  • Assist Recruitment Manager in building curriculum for Academy.
  • Following safety policies and procedures.
  • Abiding by company's standards of performance and code of ethics.
  • Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
  • Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
  • Respecting the customer’s property.
  • Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain document management on shared page.
  • Live the Core Values daily as a representative of The Wilson Companies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2 years experience in Home Service sales
  • Valid Driver’s License (clear driving record)
  • Clean background check & drug test.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Meets commitments.
  • Ability to travel for college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully.

Physical Demands:

  • Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
  • Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time
  • Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
  • Wear personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week as needed

Working Environment:

  • In field/office
  • Business Casual Dress Code
  • Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
  • Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
  • Will be exposed to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions
