General Manager Duties Include:
Team Leadership:
The General Manager is responsible for all operations of our 6500 sq/ft spa, including: the daily organization and management of a team of 40 employees.
The General Manager assists with interview, onboarding, and training of all new team members.
Motivate, discipline, discharge, and give fair and objective performance evaluations to employees for the Spa Concierge and Service Provider teams.
Coach team members to develop their skill set.
Solicit employee feedback, utilizing an open door policy and reviewing employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems and concerns.
Communicate issues and present solutions to the COO & Owner.
Celebrate successes and publicly recognize the contributions of the team members.
Emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
Ensure that the performance of team members duties is held to the proper standards.
Work with team members to ensure the spa is adequately staffed for the best guest experience while being mindful of labor costs.
The General Manager is responsible for conforming to and enabling the Woodhouse standards established in the Team Member Handbook and Operations Manual, with the ultimate objective of exceeding guest expectations daily.
Guest Experience:
Responsible for the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the spa and providing exceptional levels of guest service throughout the guests experience.
Empower employees to provide exceptional customer service.
Financial Management:
Operates as first in command reporting directly to the COO & Owner.
Enforces policies and achieves goals for each department.
Responsible for moving retail and cross selling the services of the spa.
Understand the software systems and utilize tools to drive the spas overall performance.
Monitors the team to ensure secure and concise reservations for the overall health and profitability of the spa.

Qualifications:
Three years of similar work experience in a management capacity.
Innate emotional intelligence to navigate the many personalities of employees.
Evening and weekend availability.
Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and lead others required.
Experience in guest relations and management is essential.
