We seek a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Administering injections to support our functional medicine practice.
Office Hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain patient flow by staying on schedule with patient appointments
New and existing patient intake to include vitals
Patient documentation
IM injections and procedures as needed
Administer EKGs as required by protocol
Manage medical supply levels
Reporting labs as delegated
Prescription refills
Print protocol booklets weekly
Prepare new patient bags weekly
Perform therapies trained and delegated by the provider
Troubleshooting patient issues
Patient communication: complaints, questions, and education
Triage patients when needed and delegate through proper channels
Proficiency with products and services
Proficiency with test kits and supplies
Follow sterile procedures
Working knowledge of scanning procedure to assist as needed
Trash rotation
Skills/ Qualifications:
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service
Time management
Medical terminology
EKG certification preferred
Clinical certification (i.e. medical assistant, EMT, certified nursing assistant, etc.)
CPR certification
Ability to lift/ move patients during medical emergencies
Phlebotomy
