Qualifications
Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to plan events and organize a variety of staff and volunteers
Willingness to work independently and also cooperate as part of a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking
Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Health Education, Nutrition, or Public Health preferred
2-4 years’ experience working in a health and wellness setting or related setting
1-2 years of experience developing, implementing, and/or evaluating programming

Essential Functions
Establishes new program activities and expands programs within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
Serve as primary program contact and respond to inquiries from the general public and members of the public health, physician and payer communities about the programs.
Plan and execute Community Health wellness and educational events. Build community awareness for programs by attending health fairs, screening events, etc.
Recruit, screen and register eligible participants into Community Health Programs.
Enter program data into appropriate data tracking systems within appropriate time requirements.
Engage marketing staff to ensure adequate publicity and marketing of programs.
Support data entry, analysis, and reporting needs for community health programs and awarded grants.
Effectively coordinate programming utilizing community kitchens and gardens, along with other YMCA assets, in support of overall community health strategies
Maintain relationships and communication with other Y staff at branches, facilitate regular meetings/check-ins to discuss program fidelity, challenges, and potential innovations
Performs all other duties as assigned.
