Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in a pain management setting
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
-Assist with inbound phone messages
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Provide basic patient education on topics such as medication instructions and healthy lifestyle choices
- Assist with charting, precharting, and other administrative activities
Experience
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements accurately
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive patient care
This position requires a LPN who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations is essential.
