The Zimmerman Agency is seeking an experienced, creative, and motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in executing, tracking and optimizing paid social media campaigns for our clients to help them achieve their company's marketing and business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Social Media, you will also work closely with other team members to manage paid social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across various social media platforms.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X and Snapchat. The ideal candidate can perform tasks independently, proactively and takes ownership to ensure a successful completion and timely delivery of all tasks.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, create, and manage paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and others.
  • Collaborate with the internal social team and clients to assist with development of paid social media plans aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with other agency team members to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Identify target audiences and select appropriate social media platforms for advertising.
  • Set campaign objectives, budgets, and schedules using media flowcharts.
  • Work with the social and creative teams to develop ad creatives and copy that

align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience to maximize

campaign performance.

  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance metrics and budgets, targeting,

and ad placements on a daily basis to ensure optimal ROI. Share insights and

recommendations with the team to adapt strategies.

  • Implement and maintain conversion tracking to measure the impact of

advertising efforts on website traffic, leads, and sales.

  • Implement A/B testing to refine ad elements and improve performance.
  • Conduct audience research to define and refine audience segments.
  • Use audience targeting tools and data to reach the most relevant audience for each campaign.
  • Stay informed about competitors' social media advertising strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all ad campaigns comply with platform policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with influencers to execute influencer marketing campaigns as part

of the paid strategy.

  • Create advertising content when needed to seamlessly integrate paid content

into an organic social media feed.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and algorithm changes to

adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or campaign reports while analyzing data

to assess the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations

for improvements.

  • Occasionally assist with new business pitch efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience planning, managing and executing social campaigns, with an emphasis on paid social.
  • Experience in paid media buying software such as Mediocean and Prisma.
  • Proficient use of the following ads managers and third-party social media

management tools: Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Keynote/Powerpoint.
  • Experience developing and compiling client-facing deliverables based on

performance.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, industry trends, and emerging

technologies in the social media advertising space.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze campaign performance data to

identify insights and make data-driven optimizations.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional

teams to develop and execute advertising strategies.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with

multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Relevant certifications in advertising, social media advertising and digital

marketing are a plus.
