SUMMARY
A game technician inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic equipment in an arcade. In this role you will over see the arcade making sure games are all functioning and being played like they are supposed to. Also, keeping games cleaned and watching that there is no damage occurs during sessions.
JOB DESCRIPTION-ARCADE TECHNICIAN
Fill machines with products, ingredients, money, and other supplies. Inspect machines and meters to determine causes of malfunctions and fix minor problems such as jammed bills or stuck products. Test machines to determine proper functioning. Replace malfunctioning parts, such as card readers, motors, sensors, cables, crane parts, additionally re-calibrating equipment as needed, and more . Clean and oil machine parts. Order parts needed for machine repairs, and trouble shoot with vendors. Read and understand electronic schematics and functioning components. Adjust and repair, vending, or amusement machines and replace defective mechanical and electrical parts, using hand tools, soldering irons, and diagrams. Record transaction information on forms or logs, and notify designated personnel of discrepancies. Keep records of merchandise distributed and money collected.
