• Complete working knowledge of The Zone and Kokomo Joe’s operations and inventory needs.
• Receive and facilitate directives from CEO/COO; clearly communicating vision to staff
• Accessing all resources available before elevating to CEO/COO level; presenting solutions when issues cannot be resolved for CEO/COO consideration.
• Minimum 40 hours a week and on-call to assist staff
• Strategic/big-picture mindset; forward thinking
• Working knowledge of financial analytics and reporting statistics
• Positive and efficient communicator, delegator, and mentor to staff
• Satisfy all human resources responsibilities and be knowledgeable about basic employment laws

Responsibilities

Like any boss, your plate will remain full in this category, but delegation of the day-to-day tasks will help you stay focused on the bigger picture items that only you can manage and oversee.

• Hire and retain staff to achieve and sustain proper staffing levels at The Zone and Kokomo Joes
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for staff positions and/or specialized services
• Develop and implement an onboarding training program that tracks proficiency in skills
• Identify and improve efficiencies in all operational areas
• Resolve issues calmly, timely, and effectively
• Hold staff accountable to your expectations and utilize progressive discipline when needed
• Communicate your vision and expectations to the Assistant Manager and hold them accountable for delegating properly to see all tasks completed
• Produce and review financial and inventory-based reports to monitor profitability and make recommendations to CEO/COO on areas for improvement and/or changes to be made
• Verify all financial transactions are recorded properly, timely address mishandling of funds.
• Conduct staff meetings routinely to build team-oriented culture and keep staff informed
• Proactively develop resources or processes that improve consistency in operational expectations
• Provide CEO/COO weekly management report that addresses high-level issues, solutions for consideration, accomplishments, and focus areas for the week ahead
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
