**Internal Corporate Position**
Summary of job role:
The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely onboarding of employees/temps across the organization and to ensure new hires have an excellent customer service experience. This is an internal position at our corporate office in Phoenix.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as the main point of contact for all temporary employees throughout the onboarding process
- Assist with completion of the required onboarding documents, accessing the Candidate Portal, background screening portals, and obtaining I-9 information
- Liaison between internal departments using strong communication skills via telephone, email, and in-person regarding the onboarding status of temporary employees
- Manages emails within several inboxes
- Manages daily reporting within Salesforce, ensuring all background and onboarding-related items are sent and completed accurately and timely
- Submits background checks through various providers
- Communicates with background screening providers as well as our I-9 vendor to inquire about any delays or issues on an as-needed basis
- Performs audits on completed backgrounds, escalating any discrepancies to upper management
- Request pre-adverse action from temporary employees on an as-needed basis based on background report results
- Ensures all sensitive information pertaining to the temporary employee has been completed and verified internally
Preferred Qualifications:
Employment verification experience (Background screenings, I9s, drug screening etc.)
Experience working in the staffing and/or insurance industry
Experience using Salesforce
Experience with MS Office and Apple products
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work well within an open floor plan/team environment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
