Job Description: Seeking candidates to assist in general labor duties at local mattress and bedding warehouse. Duties will include loading / unloading trucks, moving inventory, staging shipping areas and storefront, and shipping / receiving duties. Majority of the duties will be done by hand, so frequent heavy lifting will be required. Some prior forklift or pallet jack experience is welcome. 1st Shift:

• 9:00AM or 10:00AM (Start Time) - 5:30PM or 6:30PM (End Time)
• Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
• 5 Work Days Per Week ( Shift Schedule May Include Weekend Work Days )

Starting Pay: $16 Per Hour, Paid Weekly

Skills Required:

• Prior Warehouse or General Labor experience required.
• Previous Forklift experience helpful
• Energetic, positive attitude, professional demeanor

Key Job Responsibilities:

• * Ability to lift 75 lbs or more, frequently
• Load/unload trucks or other delivery vehicles as necessary using the appropriate material handling equipment.
• Move/relocate items in warehouse
• Operates lift trucks and other moving devices used in a warehouse.
• Cleans/organizes/straightens areas as defined by Lead or Supervisor which may include removing trash, scrap bins, skids, boxes and/or other others items that result from a factory environment.
• Assist with shipping activities as needed, including pulling product from storage, labeling, banding and stretch wrapping skids, and loading of out-bound trucks.
• Responsibilities may include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions. •
• • Ability to write read and interpret documentation.
• • Required to frequently use a computer.
• • Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other materials.
• • Must routinely use lift trucks and other material handling devices.
• • Required to visually identify defects in incoming materials as well as use inspection tools and equipment.
• • Capable of performing physical activity that requires considerable use of arms and legs, and movement of whole body, such as lifting and bending.
