Business Development Director
An architecture and design firm with over 50 years of experience, with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and Denver, is seeking a Business Development Director to join their Arizona team. The ideal candidate will identify new project opportunities, develop and implement strategies for business growth, and build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Business Development Planning: Develop and manage the Business Development Plan for the Arizona office, setting clear objectives, strategies, and budgets for business growth.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify prospective clients aligning with the companys expertise and objectives.
• Client and Business Development: Establish and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, cultivating a robust professional network.
• Qualifications/Proposals/Interviews: Execute processes related to qualifications, proposals, and interviews.
• Promotional Activity: Collaborate with the internal marketing team on promotional activities such as conferences, advertising, and social media initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with a solid grasp of industry terminology and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Essential proactive planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid networking abilities to create and sustain professional relationships.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in using business development tools such as CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant applications.
