Job DescriptionAbout UsTheraPeds of Colorado is a therapist-owned and operated company dedicated to providing skilled contract therapists opportunities within our trusted school districts nationwide. As therapists ourselves, we understand the intricacies of the special education system and are committed to fostering a collaborative approach with school districts to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Job And ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time in-person role for a School Psychologist located in Windsor, VT, and surrounding areas.The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health support to students, collaborating with school staff and parents, and implementing intervention strategies. The role also includes participating in IEP meetings, writing reports, and monitoring students' progress.

  • 20hrs/week
  • Grades Pre-K thru 12
  • Strong team and collaborative approach

  • Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
  • This is a contract position for the 2024-25 school year

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • NASP License (preferred but not required)
  • State License as a School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
  • 2 years of experience (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents while demonstrating a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
