Therapeutic Approach to Growth is Hiring a Behavior Interventionist Near Carlsbad, CA

Are you an energetic, creative, friendly individual who loves making a difference in the lives of children and teens with autism? Are you wanting to join a positive team of clinicians and be a part of an upbeat, supportive work environment? If so, then Therapeutic Approach to Growth (TAG) has just the opportunity for you! TAG is looking for a part-time 1:1 Tutor or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! We have three locations: Miramar, Carlsbad, and Temecula.

*$300 Sign on BONUS after working at TAG for 12 months!

Rate: $22-25 per hour depending on experience.

We are currently hiring for 10-19 hours a week.

We use a fun, project-based approach when working with clients on goal areas, such as using art, music, cooking, gardening, games, etc. Our holistic approach is built upon trust, supportive relationships, and collaboration between TAG and our families. Job Benefits

  • Rate: $22-25 per hour depending on experience.

Job Duties

  • Work 1:1 with child/teen on goals (behavior, communication, social, daily living), typically 10-25 hours weekly at the clinic or in client homes.
  • Share creative ideas for activities to support reaching target goals.
  • Collect data each session on goal progress.
  • Implement treatment plan developed by supervisor, with their guidance.
  • Implement a developmental relationship driven program using a mentoring approach.

Skills/Qualifications

  • At least 1-year experience working with children/teens (children with Autism is a plus).
  • Be willing to complete RBT training in a 1-month period.
  • Be willing to commute up to 30 miles from TAG Office for client sessions (Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement is provided when driving between clients).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be available during highly desirable after school hours (ex: 3-6pm).
  • Able to work one day during the weekend (Typically 2-3 hours) (preferred).
  • No extended vacations planned within the next 6 months as our clients need consistency and continuity of care when starting programs.
