Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a School Counselor to provide in-person services for charter school students in grades K-5.
Candidate must possess Pennsylvania Department of Education School Counselor Certification.
This position is for the upcoming school year.
School Counselor Scheduling : Monday-Friday / 8 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM
School Counselor Salary Range : $40-$45 per hour
School Counselor Qualifications :
- Pennsylvania Department of Education School Counselor Certification
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Counselor Responsibilities Include :
- Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
- Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
