Discover Impactful WorkAs a Facilities Coordinator II you will provide general site support through the performance of assigned tasks related to reception/front desk services, Facilities services, and event management and support.
A Day In The Life
- Performs general facility support tasks related to one or multiple functions, such as reception services, building security, and shipping and receiving.
- Performs event management tasks such as conference rooms set-up, catering, visitor welcoming etc.
- May perform building or equipment maintenance tasks including the completion of work orders, scheduled routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs.
- May coordinate the purchase of supplies and manage supply inventories.
- Responds to facility-related emergencies as assigned.
- Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed.
- High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Technical positions may require a certificate
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and perform tasks efficiently and accurately
- Consistently positive demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with others
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proactive approach
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid computer proficiency
- Thorough understanding of office equipment and machinery
- Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.
- Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours.
- Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Able to work in non-traditional work environments.
- Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency.
- May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements, including infectious agents, typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.
- Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
