Help Desk Specialist IIJob OverviewThink Consulting is actively seeking a Help Desk Specialist II to join a leading government agency in Miami, FL. This role requires a U.S. Citizen with a clean background and good financial history. The position is contract-based with a pay rate of $25.32/hr and involves providing IT and user support for federal agency customers. Key Responsibilities
Assist district IT staff with day-to-day operations and administration of IT systems.
Provide end-user support for IT-related issues.
Install and maintain hardware and software.
Administer user accounts and monitor IT systems.
Utilize trouble tickets to track and resolve issues.
Train district users on IT systems.
Physically move IT equipment as needed.
Travel to other district offices, possibly 1-2 days per week.
Required Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience providing direct end-user support, including telephone and on-site assistance.
Hands-on familiarity with network, telecommunications, and operating systems environments.
Experience with DOJ office automation environments.
Proficient in government word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems.
Pleasant telephone manner.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Valid driver's license.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a government and/or litigation support environment.
Prior teaching/training experience with computer applications, especially databases and automated litigation support.
Previous experience in automated litigation support.
Prior Help Desk experience in IT.
Undergraduate degree.
