**Hours of work**

**The Role**

Were on the hunt for a Junior DevOps and Infrastructure engineer to join our friendly Web team.?

This is a rare opportunity, for someone at a junior level to come in, progress quickly, have a real impact on our day-to-day work, and have a real say on the Infrastructure and DevOps decisions we make in a growing business.

You could have a small amount of experience, be a recent graduate, or come from another technical background. If youre willing to get stuck in and learn on the job this could be the role for you.

Our web team designs, develops and maintains technical solutions, including web applications and email marketing, for our customers around the UK.?

Over recent years weve worked to modernise our estate, investing in cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, and automation tools. Our work has resulted in ever-increasing resilience, and the tools to bring our developers projects to reality.?

Were looking to take on a Junior DevOps Engineer with the enthusiasm to jump into supporting and developing our current ecosystem, and the drive to develop and roll out DevOps practices within the Web team.?

The web team is based in our sunny Hebden Bridge office, with flexibility in working hours. With a requirement to sometimes work in our Leeds head office. This role is not full-time remote, but time working remotely is negotiable (the team tend to work 2-3 days per week remotely). We like fish and chips on Fridays, and an occasional after work trip to the pub!? **Key Outputs**

* Support and maintain the existing Azure?based infrastructure

* Work with stakeholders to deliver new infrastructure solutions for company projects

* Work within agreed standards to produce robust and secure solutions

* Support and maintain existing tools for deployment and management of existing products and infrastructure

* Champion and develop DevOps tools and practices within the department

* Plan and manage your own workload, communicating with stakeholders to deliver tasks and projects on time

* Ensure systems have appropriate resilience and monitoring, aiming for zero down time

* Respond to issues to restore services as quickly as possible

* Other ad?hoc duties as and when required by the business

**The Person**

**Overview**

The right person for the job will be self?motivated, having the confidence and initiative to be able to make sound decisions and take ownership of work.

Experience working in DevOps or cloud infrastructure is essential. Youll be happy to turn your hand to a range of technologies and tools.

The key to this role is getting stuck in at the deep end to deliver day to day tasks, while also driving continual improvement and embedding a DevOps approach within the team.

You will display an enthusiastic approach to work, be detail orientated, have good communication skills and be a team player.

Youll take ownership of your work, working with the team to deliver high quality, resilient products.

**Department**: Genetic Counselor Service - 388

**Primary Purpose :**

Provide genetic consultation services to clients and health care providers regarding genetic/genomic tests. Work in multiple genetic/genomic sub-specialty laboratory areas of ARUP. Monitor activity of genetic/genomic testing and develop documents about ARUP genetic/genomic testing services. Serve as a resource to multiple work units/departments within ARUP. Provide education about genetic diseases.

**Essential Functions :**

Provide telephone consultation to clients and referring health care providers about genetic testing provided by ARUP.

Coordinate appropriate use, priority of use, and interpretation of genetic/genomic tests and any ancillary testing used for patient management.

Provide contact information for patient resources, as requested by health care providers.

Assist medical directors with interpreting complex genetic/genomic test results which may include obtaining clinical information, previous laboratory results and/or samples from family members, and literature review. Assist with report review to provide appropriate recommendations and comprehensive, detailed, and accurate clinical reports.
