Position: Mental Health Therapy Manager Department: Clinical Reports To: Clinical Director Status: Exempt Job Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Director, provide clinical and administrative management of THIRA's Mental Health Therapy Team. Responsible for clinical and administrative management through supervision, task administration management, and delegation where appropriate. Job Duties:
Manage Mental Health Therapy team operations, manage and resolve all escalated issues
Serve as primary liaison between Mental Health Therapy Team and Clinical Operations Manager to ensure consistent cohesive program functioning
Manage the development and implementation of all Mental Health Therapy team policies, procedures, and workflows in accordance with DOH, Joint Commission and other accreditation services
Develop and lead Mental Health Therapy Team quality-of-care and process improvement initiatives; identify need and research solutions for any Mental Health Therapy team related issues; guide implementation as appropriate
Oversee quality of all mental health therapy data in EMR patient charts; provide feedback to Mental Health Therapy Team staff to meet regulatory requirements, delegate as needed
Oversee all Mental Health Therapy program inventory, ordering, and budgets, delegate as needed
Manage/oversee relevant Mental Health Therapy contract/vendor relationships, delegate as needed
Provide oversight of all Mental Health Therapy Team services; ensure adequate and qualified therapy staff for clinical service/coverage needs
Provide clinical and administrative supervision for Mental Health Therapy staff in their role(s), delegate as needed
Support Weekend Program Mental Health Therapy Team by being accessible by cell phone to answer program and clinical questions on rotation basis; provide clinical coverage as needed in the event of staffing shortage
Provide direct services inclusive individual, family, and group therapy as needed based on business conditions; collaborate on and/or complete treatment plans and complete clinical documented as needed
Deliver crisis intervention services inclusive of suicide risk assessment and management, safety plans, de-escalation of dysregulated patients, and mediation of conflicts between patient as needed
All other coverage, duties and special projects as assigned

Requires a Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related therapy field
Requires a Washington StateIndependent License (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist) or license-eligible if out-of-state
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) training and experience required
Minimum five (5) years'experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy from a behavioral orientation
Minimum three (3) years' experienceworking in PHP, IOP, or IPU environmentrequired; prior crisis management experiencerequired
Requires verified/approved state clinical supervision training and certification or must meet state requirement through education and experience
Experience delivering therapy to adolescents and their parents required
Experience in healthcare administration or administrative work within clinical environments highly preferred
Prior experience supervising/managing staff members highly preferred
