Third Street Community Clinic Inc is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Mansfield, OH

Description

We are seeking a full-time skilled Dental Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in the oral health of patients. The right candidate is committed to providing high quality care to a diverse group of patients in a culturally competent and no judgement manner. Loves to provide health education and assist in the removal of barriers of care to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. 

General job duties: 

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. 
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment. 
  • Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified). 
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. 
  • Educate patients on proper oral healthcare. 
  • Perform office management tasks as needed. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout their visit. 
  • Adhere to all infection control protocols.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience. 
  • X-ray certification, required 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. 
  • Basic Life Saving Certification (or willingness to become certified in the first 90 days of employment) 
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.
