Third Street Community Clinic Inc is Hiring a Patient Access Rep Near Marion, OH

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team in our dental, medical and or behavioral Health departments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they enter our facility. As a Medical Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately registering patients, verifying insurance information, and assisting with any administrative tasks related to patient intake.

General job duties

  • Patient Registration: Greet and assist patients in a courteous and welcoming manner during the registration process. Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately. 
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility. Explain insurance benefits, co-pays, and deductible responsibilities to patients as needed. 
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures as requested by medical staff, ensuring that schedules are optimized for efficient patient flow. 
  • Financial Counseling: Provide patients with information about financial assistance programs and payment options, assisting them in understanding their financial responsibilities. 
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, medical staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience. 
  • Data Entry: Accurately input patient information into electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient files. 
  • Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
