Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take digital dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in dental terminology
- Knowledge of periodontics and dental implants
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dental clinic environment
- Competence in taking digital X-rays
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices

Pay: $20.50 - $24.69 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
