JOB SUMMARY The Revenue Cycle Lead Training and Development Specialist will ensure all team members are adequately trained on the PMS Systems and are able to successfully pass required assessments. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 2 or more years of experience, required.
Work Experience
3 years of healthcare experience related to PB Epic Application. - Required
3 years of experience with using Microsoft Office products.- Required.
Knowledge of adult learning theories and the basics of instruction design. -Required.
Required Licenses/Certifications
PB Epic Certification preferred
Essential Functions:
Work with partners to learn and develop training content and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for questions surrounding the application
Develop internal guidelines and procedures that will allow for consistent development and updates of training materials
Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks Train employees who will require access to Epic systems
Map out training plans for individual team members
Communicate workflow changes due to system updates
Update existing policies and procedures, as needed
Responsible for building, testing, and maintaining all content within Epic Revenue Cycle training environment
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
Coordinates with management team members to determine training needs and schedule training sessions for new team members and existing team members
Organize, develop, or source training programs to meet the specific training needs of the end-user
Evaluate team member performance and response to training and report back to team member's manager or direct report
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
Attend team meetings to discuss team and project-related activities, work tasks, and issues
Work with the Managers/Team Leads in relaying positive change management to users
Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
Assess training needs for new and existing team members
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Professional Billing Epic and eClincial works trainer.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
