Responsible for timely and accurate pre-registration and insurance verification. Provides upfront collection estimates to patients and collects the amount due. Obtains authorizations for procedures/testing as required by the patient’s insurance company. Accurately interprets managed care contracts and is proficient in the use of the (including but not limited to) Meditech, PA and Passport system.
