Thomas MacLaren School is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Colorado, CO
Reports To: Facility Manager
Supervisory: No
Non-exempt Pay Type:Hourly
Compensation:
- Pay range: $17.00-18.50/hr.
- Benefits: For employees contracted for 30 hours per week or more, Thomas MacLaren School pays for 100% of the employee’s base insurance premiums (Health, Dental, Vision, Long-term and Short-term disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance, and Life insurance) for the base level coverages. No benefits are provided to employees contracted for less than 30 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance operations at the request of the Facilities Manager
- Maintain the upkeep of the facility, systems, equipment, and furniture
- Assist the facility manager in the preventative maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the facility
- Perform routine and special project work on the facility and grounds (e.g., locker repair and maintenance)
- Follow Universal Standard Precautions and safety protocols and when appropriate
- Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance
- Attend all training as assigned by Facility Manager
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well on a team
- Enthusiasm for working in a school environment, serving its students and staff
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a preventative maintenance program, electrical, plumbing and grounds keeping role preferred
