Scott & Associates, P.C. , a well-established multi-state legal recoveries law firm, is actively on the lookout for a motivated Attorney to join the team and represent our firm in Houston and surrounding areas.

Since our inception in May 2000, we've evolved into a significant player in debt recovery litigation, providing comprehensive solutions for major banks and creditors.

This position is more than just a job; it's a commission-eligible opportunit y. Earn commissions based on attorney-negotiated settlements , enhancing your income on top of the listed base salary.

Your role in this adventure :

  • Review and approve collection claims placed with the Firm.
  • Represent clients in civil collection matters, traveling within assigned region of the state.
  • Approve and execute pleadings for timely case progression.
  • Maintain regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, and consumers for effective case management.
  • Manage the docket, including trial preparation and post-judgment enforcement.
  • Assist in the management and supervision of cases.

What we're looking for :

  • Currently licensed and in good standing with the TX Bar.
  • Thorough understanding of Texas Civil Practice law.
  • Dedication to operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Disciplined work ethic.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
