- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents encompassing software, systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides.
- Create code documentation for software, and produce implementation and end-user guides for capabilities.
- Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation, and format technical publications from various sources.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
- Gather technical information and prepare written text.
- Maintain a current internal documentation library.
- Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
- Work on all phases of documentation.
- Prepare reports, responses, and briefings tailored to various audiences.
- Coordinate layout and design of documents.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, poise with grammar and its application, and interpretation of technical terminology during meetings and planning sessions.
- Orient oneself and maintain situational awareness of an IT environment, identifying differentiating factors and technical terms relevant to building next-generation IT services.
- Two (2) years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required.
- Additional two (2) years of TW experience may substitute for an Associate's degree.
