Thompson Pipe Group is currently looking for a Maintenance Welder Fabricator

Overview : The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery.

Starting Pay Range : $22.00 - 28.00 / hr.

Scheduled Shift : 5 : 00 . - 3 : 30 . Monday - Friday. OT & weekends as required

Essential Functions :

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications :

• At least 7 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience required.
• Strong communication skills in multiple settings.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school / GED or vocational education

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Schedule hours of work are 5 : 00 . 3 : 30 . OT and weekends will be required as needed.
