Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing engine shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a machine shop setting.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize forklift and pallet jacks to move stock within the shop
- Process orders from the sales team
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Package items securely for safe transport
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment

Qualifications:

- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with stock management practices
- Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory counting
- Ability to use warehouse management systems effectively
- Capability to handle packages of various sizes and weights
- Experience in loading and unloading trucks efficiently
