POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the general direction of the Service Manager, the Service Electrician coordinates the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and components across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This role involves regular interaction with customers to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Install, Maintain, and Repair Electrical Systems: Perform tasks in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Identify and fix electrical problems and malfunctions.
• Plan and Perform Electrical Work: Organize and execute electrical projects efficiently.
• Evaluate Customer Requests: Provide accurate work order descriptions and project pricing.
• Ensure Safety: Perform all tasks safely, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Licensing and Experience: A Journeyperson electrical license is required, as well as substantial experience in the electrical field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using an iPad and related applications.
• Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Code Knowledge: Familiarity with Local and National Electrical Codes and Building Codes.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
• Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites.
