Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with a diverse clientele including Tier manufacturers, and general maufacturing companies.
  • Business Development: Identify and exploit growth opportunities within the North American market.
  • Lead Generation: Use your expertise to spot and convert potential leads into profitable business relationships.
  • Travel: Engage in significant travel (about 50% of workdays) across North America for client interaction and network expansion.
  • Quote Preparation: Oversee the process of technical clarification, pricing, and crafting detailed quotes.
  • Sales Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure customer satisfaction, including managing spare parts deliveries and customer service interactions.
  • Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy based on thorough market analysis.
  • Contract Negotiations: Skillfully negotiate contracts to achieve a balance between client needs and organizational goals.
  • Cost/Price Management: Efficiently manage cost/pricing and margins.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to regional marketing and communication initiatives to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
Candidate Requirements:
  • A technical degree, ideally in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven experience in selling capital equipment, with a strong understanding of the sales process and market dynamics.
