Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with a diverse clientele including Tier manufacturers, and general maufacturing companies.
Business Development: Identify and exploit growth opportunities within the North American market.
Lead Generation: Use your expertise to spot and convert potential leads into profitable business relationships.
Travel: Engage in significant travel (about 50% of workdays) across North America for client interaction and network expansion.
Quote Preparation: Oversee the process of technical clarification, pricing, and crafting detailed quotes.
Sales Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities for strategic planning and decision-making.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure customer satisfaction, including managing spare parts deliveries and customer service interactions.
Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy based on thorough market analysis.
Contract Negotiations: Skillfully negotiate contracts to achieve a balance between client needs and organizational goals.
Cost/Price Management: Efficiently manage cost/pricing and margins.
Marketing Support: Contribute to regional marketing and communication initiatives to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
Candidate Requirements:
A technical degree, ideally in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
Proven experience in selling capital equipment, with a strong understanding of the sales process and market dynamics.
