Thornton Fractional High School District #215 is Hiring an Assistant Drama Director Near Lansing, IL
Job/FLSA Status: Part-Time, Seasonal, Exempt Reports to: Principal through Student Activities Director Position Summary: To provide students with a variety of activities, programs, and events for personal, social and recreational enrichment. Role Qualifications

Experience as a coach in the activity sponsored preferred
Experience working in a high school setting preferred
Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
Job Duties
Ensure timely submission of all forms/paperwork (vouchers, building requests, pledges, membership lists, and activity requests).
Ensure that the student secretary or designee submits monthly minutes to the Activities Director. A signed roster of students in attendance must be included in the minutes. A financial report should also be included reflecting all expenditures, fundraisers/income, and a current balance of the activity account and/or budget account. An updated roster highlighting any changes should also be submitted.
Plan and implement monthly building activities for increased group development. Groups must meet two times each month.
Actively develop and participate in a recruitment program to encourage and/or train new members. This may include representation at registration, open house, and freshmen orientation as examples. Membership levels must be maintained throughout the year.
Follow and monitor the District 215 Activity/Athletic Code of Conduct.
Plan and implement at least one community service component per semester.
Understand and implement all District 215 procedures on a regular basis.
Follow District guidelines for eligibility.
Attend all meetings related to activities and the club must participate in conference events.
