Position Summary

As Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all deadlines are met. As the project lead, you will be responsible for delegating tasks to the right team members, checking their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.

You will be a creative contributor to various deliverables, including external and internal strategic planning, brand development, cultural development, and more.

As the Project Manager, you will also have the opportunity to grow the business by:

  1. impressing existing clients to use Thoroughbred for further deliverables
  2. obtaining new clients
  3. creating efficiencies
  4. expanding business offerings and opportunities

Detail of Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously from onboarding to final delivery
  • Entering proposals and billing into project management software
  • Act as the client liaison for all assigned projects, providing project status updates on a regular basis
  • Be the leader of fulfilling our project commitments to our clients
  • Create schedule and project timeline
  • Allocate project resources and team members
  • Direct and support the team; Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise
  • Keep the project team focused on the end goal
  • Facilitate internal team communication and collaboration for project deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully
  • Keep client project organized, track milestones and execute projects by deadline
  • Conduct vendor and service provider searches and attainment of necessary quotes
  • General task fulfillment and research
  • Setup client meeting logistics and distributing post-meeting notes/information as needed
  • Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Present to clients reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Evaluate and assess result of project
  • Identify potential client opportunities with TBSG and communicate to team
  • Identify, roll out and develop new processes when appropriate
  • Optimize Teamwork (project management software) workflow
  • Assist in optimization and create new ones as necessary (Excel, PPT Deliverable templates)
  • Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities and standards
  • Assist Executive Director in producing proposals for prospective clients, including cost estimates and project plans
  • Create presentations and reports to communicate project status to clients
  • Presentation/deck development for various projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge / minimum five years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of spirits business/minimum five years of spirits industry experience
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Experience with G-Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritizing skills
  • Proven experience handling confidential information
  • Extensive experience in client-facing communication
  • Ability to travel on occasion nationally/internationally for client onsite visits and industry tradeshows
