Position: Sr. Azure Network Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL (but can work remote from anywhere in the US)

Duration: 12 Months

Rate: $65/hr C2C total rate (C2C only)

Must-have:

• 12 years of overall experience is needed.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Infrastructure, including Networking, Compute, Storage, and KeyVaults [Other Azure Services]
• Expert level knowledge of Azure Networking and Network Security (Virtual WAN, vNets, ExpressRoute, VPN, Cisco FTDv firewall, Network Security Groups, DMZ)
• Expert level understanding of Networking and IP routing (CIDR, subnetting, VLSM, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS)
• Strong understanding of Azure Security (Entra ID, RBAC, Policies)
• Serve as an Azure network subject matter expert, recommending and implementing best-practice network architecture in a manner that ensures maximum uptime and security.
• Deploy, document, and proactively maintain Azure network infrastructure and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical or escalated technical issues of affected equipment.
• Help deploy, test, and troubleshoot Azure network services.
• Troubleshoot issues in Azure cloud environments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and be onsite as needed.
• Take part in the development of technical processes and documentation.
• Be open to learning new concepts and train other Network Engineers.
• Must have Azure AZ-700 network associate certification.
