*Roles and Responsibilities:*
* *Direct Patient Care:*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor and document residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
* Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Provide wound care and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
* Respond promptly to residents’ calls for assistance and ensure their needs are met.
* *Resident Assessment and Monitoring:*
* Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' health status.
* Recognize and report any changes in residents' conditions to the RN or physician.
* Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
* *Communication and Collaboration:*
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
* Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and problem-solving.
* *Documentation and Compliance:*
* Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all residents.
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures.
* Document all care provided and any changes in residents' conditions promptly and accurately.
* *Safety and Infection Control:*
* Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
* Implement infection control measures, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* *Professional Development:*
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
* Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing and long-term care.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
