The Philadelphia Market is looking to add a strong Visual Merchandising professional to support multiple locations. The ideal candidate is either a recent graduate of a design-related program, or has 2-5 years experience in visual design, interior design, or retail merchandising. This is a physical hands-on, interactive role in our retail design centers. If this sounds like a good fit, we would like to talk to you!

**General Objectives**Implement and maintain appropriate floor displays, in accordance with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines and current Ethan Allen branded projection. Assist and support 2-3 design teams in relationship-based retail setting with tasks necessary to achieve the goals of the Design Team.

*Fixed schedule Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 6:00pm***Specific Responsibilities**

* Prioritize merchandising needs, and multitask effectively, to meet deadlines consistently and maintain a neat and orderly Design Center projection.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and design skills to oversee and maintain the interior and exterior environment of the Design Center, per the Visual Merchandising Guidelines.

* Process Quarterly Rate-of-Sale (ROS) and develop planning strategies in conjunction with District Leadership to maximize display square footage.

* Maintain balanced inventory levels within established Ethan Allen benchmarks.

* Participate in local marketing efforts, including in house Design Workshops and managing active Social Media platforms (Houzz, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

* Provide backup coverage for Receptionist and other administrative positions, as needed.

* Maintain and update master price pages, samples and related design resources.

* Assist Interior Design Consultants with residential design projects, as needed.

* Assist new customers and return clients, as needed.

* Utilize available technology and company design tools, including: proprietary 2D/3D CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

Job Requirements

**Requirements**Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to train others to accessorize through knowledge of design, fashion, and new product and retail development trends. Must possess valid drivers license with a good driving record and provide own transportation. May require holiday, evening and weekend hours.
