Position Title: Director, Marketing & Business DevelopmentCategory: Full-Time, RegularResponsible to: Co-Owner, Kelby Shymlock

Who you are: Threds is looking for an experienced marketing strategist who shares our values, wants to join our winning team and is eager to help expand the Threds brand. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to celebrate the company’s successes and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities:
Marketing· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.· Manage the company’s marketing budget.· Review, recommend and introduce marketing and sales materials (i.e. specials, leave behinds, direct mail, digital guides, lookbooks, etc.)· Collaborate with the sales staff to execute sales flyers and PDFs in order to make the sales process easier and quicker to get information on products and specials quickly to potential customers· Create and manage email marketing campaigns for Threds and be able to analyze the data from these emails.· Create and manage social media campaigns.· Collaborate with management and Sales VP to execute marketing plans and strategies focusing on prospecting and lead generation.· Manage, maintain and update Threds.com, this is the most visible tool we have that shows potential customers what we can do along with what we do great.· Coordinate corporate video and photography projects along with client case studies.· Work with our E-Commerce team lead on customer specific marketing needs such as social media postings, email execution and tracking· Manage all marketing aspects of our CRM platform and manage the content, messaging and photography of all email campaigns.
Business Development· Prospect and identify new business opportunities· Represent Threds at local networking and community events· Plan, organize and coordinate Threds special events· Oversee all community outreach initiatives· Grow marketing and sales qualified list organically.· Collaborate with Sales VP to implement and execute sales initiatives and incentives.· Implement strategic customer acquisition campaigns, including the creative direction of concepts and messaging.· Build and design digital advertising assets including display, retargeting, and Facebook/LinkedIn
Customer Relations· Develop creative solutions for clients’ branding needs· Introduce and implement customer thank you initiatives encouraging repeat business.· Collaborate, plan and execute lead gen gift boxes to prospective customers in specific industries.
Management· Oversee both the marketing and digital teams.· Main Liaison with CRM vendor support team and responsible for updates and changes to format, function, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications:· BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience· 5 plus years of experience in marketing is preferred· Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts· Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity· Must possess a competitive, “go getter” attitude· Must have strong attention to detail· Excellent communicator and creative thinker with the ability to make key decisions· Bonus skills: Adobe Creative Suite· Proficiency in email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM technology, such as HubSpot and Claritysoft· Experience with web content management tools, such as WordPress. You will be expected to manage web content, build product pages, and optimize the conversion paths. Currently these are done through Claritysoft. 
Salary and Benefits: Salary is based on experience and education. Health, dental and vision insurance is available to full-time employees after 90 days. Vacation and holiday pay is also available to full-time employees after 90 days.
