Job Title: Administrative Assistant I (Part Time)- Onsite

Client: Heavy machine manufacturing company

Duration: 2-year contract

Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Part-time, 8 am - 12 pm)

Job Description:

• Performs administrative and clerical duties to support a department and manager.
• Coordinates meetings, travel, and supplies.
• Handles document processing, report preparation, data retrieval, and filing.
• Maintains process documentation and updates department websites.
• Responds to inquiries and drafts standard correspondence.
• Updates databases, spreadsheets, and systems applications.
• Schedules meetings, manages calendars, and coordinates travel.
• Processes mail, messages, and documents.
• Conducts basic analysis and resolves discrepancies.

Duties:

• Create purchase orders and support data entry.
• Perform bookkeeping duties with basic accounting familiarity.
• Organize and maintain accurate records.
• Use basic Excel formulas.
• Be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Handle monotonous tasks and take on additional responsibilities when needed.
• Work quickly and efficiently with minimal social interaction.
• Be available for communication via Teams or phone calls.

Requirements:

• Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work remotely.
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Basic accounting and Excel skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
• Willingness to serve as a backup for coworkers and take on more responsibilities if needed.
