Job Title: Program & Portfolio Management - Analyst, Business (Hybrid)
Client: Health Care Industry
Duration: 3 months contract
Location: Baltimore, MD 21224
Purpose :
Ensure business needs for changes to processes, policies, and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented, and acted upon. Elicit, analyze, document, validate, specify, and verify business or user needs. Assist in gathering and synthesizing business requirements for low complexity software, systems, processes, and/or services, translating them into specifications to meet business objectives. Serve as the conduit between business areas and technical/software development teams.
Essential Functions :
25% Interpret business needs by gathering, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating user and technical (functional/non-functional) requirements. Participate in requirements documentation creation under supervision. Collaborate on project plans for requirements management and development activities. Participate in requirements analysis and verification sessions. Assist in tracking and managing open issues and planning for resolution. Participate in development sessions and design reviews to ensure design meets user requirements.
25% Responsible for user acceptance testing success, including documentation, verification, and release. Implement practices and procedures for end-user test plans. Identify and document gaps in requirement adherence or system deficiencies/defects. Coordinate actions for issue resolution. Provide guidance and training to application end-users.
20% Identify, document, and troubleshoot problems in systems, software, and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor, report, and resolve issues. Participate in developing solutions and workarounds for low complexity technical, system, and/or business issues.
20% Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs. Document requirements clearly and organize them effectively. Contribute to key project and requirement deliverables for low complexity projects.
10% Monitor and report project status to identify and mitigate risks. Ensure quality and timely project deliverables. Coordinate projects from concept through implementation. Prioritize and manage new work requests.
