Compensation: $18.15 - $22.99 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Qualifications:
Position requires
4 hours at Fleming Middle School & 4 hours at North Valley High School
1. Follows and maintains knowledge of all applicable District policy(ies) and procedures.
2. Cleans and disinfects areas as assigned (i.e. rooms, halls, offices, rest rooms, cafeteria, etc.),
vacuums, shampoos, sweeps, scrubs, waxes, polishes, mops and buffs all types of floor surfaces.
3. Dusts each room on a regular basis.
4. Washes windows, white boards, walls, doors and baseboards.
5. Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, metal work and computer screens.
6. Maintains indoor and outdoor lighting.
7. Washes, scrubs and disinfects restrooms and locker rooms as well as cleans sinks, fixtures, panels
and drinking fountains daily.
8. Checks and stocks bathroom supplies.
9. Cleans up spills (including bodily fluids) in safe and appropriate manner.
10. Responds to special requests for custodial services from staff members with supervisor approval.
11. Sets up, takes down and moves tables, chairs, equipment, shelving and partitions for meetings,
athletic events and other needs as assigned.
12. Locks doors and windows, turns off lights and secures buildings and property as assigned.
13. Makes minor repairs (i.e., sinks, tiles, lockers, change light bulbs, etc.).
14. Picks up trash.
15. Empties and cleans waste containers.
16. Maintains basic grounds keeping of school property, including mowing, trimming and watering.
17. Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to supervisor.
18. Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff, administrators and parents and
resolves conflict in a professional manner.
19. Communicates clearly with coworkers and other staff.
20. Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required.
21. Dress professionally for the position.
22. Attends work daily as assigned and is punctual.
23. Adheres to daily schedule.
